instead of setting up a tent, we just tarped over the van and slept in there.

within an hour, j.j was naked and being painted blue by tiny bald italian women

one of our favorite installations was the tactile corridor. feather dusters, grass skirts, mylar strands, metal beads, scrub brushes, paint brushes.

gnat goes through the tactile corridor. the paint brushes weren't so nice. but the feather dusters sure were.

the falafel assembly line from right to left: andrew opens the pita, jenine adds lettuce, lilith stuffs it with falafel, jade (with back turned) adds tahini sauce, soren adds spicy red sauce and hands it off to a hungry person. almost everyone from our camp pitched in and helped with the falafel kitchen. it was a huge, happy success. we all took shifts on the assembly line, and we fed a whole LOT of people really fast. mcdonalds has nothing on us! mama lilith was definitely the most favorite person at burning man to a lot of people. huzzah for mama lilith!

tuna! four fishermen from oregon brought a uhaul trailer packed with ice and fresh caught tuna. they cooked it with fruit, bacon, garlic and marinades and gave it out for free or barter. we gave them three bottles of propane and ate tuna until we were about ready to burst.
