Compared with previous bobs, this bob had more very fine quality alcoholic beverages, and more very poor quality ones. The distribution was quite bimodal which much more emphasis on the extremes.
On one end, we had some excellent single malts, including Isle of Jura, the stevibrew (which she claimed to be an IPA although it was nowhere near as hopped as an IPA, something I enjoyed), as well as the 3L33T T3FF B33R 4 HAK3RZ which amazed me.
On the other end, we had Miller. We had Labatts. We had some of the worst shampagne that I have ever put in my mouth. And, sorry to say it, but Heston's batch of citrus wine did not come up to the fine quality that he achieved at HOTT.BOB.
Miller. Honestly. At a BOB?
Next year we have to manage to push up the bottom end while retaining the fine quality on the high end.
